Fathers' Day is just around the corner!! Have you recognized and thanked your father for all he did (or does) for you? Do it before it becomes too late. EducationWorld.com recently re-published an article that I had written in tribute to my deceased father in 2003. Follow the link at the right to read it. |

| A study in the recent "Journal of the American Medical Association" gives hope that the battle among U.S. youth with obesity may have leveled off. According to an Associated Press story this week, about 32 percent of children were overweight in 2003-04 and 2005-06 and those levels "held steady after rising without interruption since 1980." Experts attribute the apparent change to schools and parents for emphasizing better eating habits and exercise. Learn what you can so to help teach healthy eating habits and proper serving sizes by following the link to a web site, SMALLSTEP.gov | |||
